XENIA — Retta Ann Long, Age 72, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away Friday morning, June 21, 2024 at the Hospice of Dayton surrounded by her loved ones. She was born March 26, 1952 in Jamestown, OH, daughter of the late Ivan Ray Tidd and Betty Louise Milstead. On April 28, 1990 at the Grape Grove Church of Christ, Jamestown, she married Philip B. Long, who survives. She was a member of Grape Grove Church of Christ, where she had been a life long and active member; a 1970 Greenview High School Graduate and had retired from the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base after 23 years of service. Retta volunteered at the Jamestown food pantry. She wasn't on facebook, but when her sister would see something on there about family, Retta would be sure to call and get the scoop on what was happening. She had amazing Christmas dinners where she would have the grandchildren take a Christmas quiz and pay them for each correct answer.
