David Frank Thompson, age 99, of Sabina, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Soin Medical Center-Kettering Health in Beavercreek. He was born on May 1, 1925, in Pike County, Ohio, the son of James W. and Mary (Rhoades) Thompson. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom, ginseng, and squirrel hunting. He was a former employee of Cox Paving and worked in road construction all of his life. He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Warnock of Sabina; stepdaughter, Joyce (Jim) Fettro of Hillsboro; daughter-in-law, Kim Thompson of Rainsboro; five grandchildren, Tammy (Jamie) King, Teresa (Blake) Baker, Bruce (Tara) Thompson, Tommy (Jennifer) Warnock, Davey (Misty) Warnock; four step grandchildren; Steve Fettro, Heath Fettro; Sheryl (Brian) Fluegeman; Angela Fettro; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Jim Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Mae (Massie) Thompson on March 23, 1988; one infant daughter, Janet Thompson;
